The LCG-5050D is great for those who need a midrange performance character generator packed in a small desktop chassis. For those wanting a character generator for placing graphics and animations on-air, while not needing all the bells and whistles of a high-end machine, this is for you. The LCG-5050D gives you Rolls, Crawls, over 260 transitional effects, and even a user-definable Clock/Timer. The system comes with Scheduler Suite. The LCG-5050D comes complete with a keyboard and a mouse.

Monitors are not included. VGA monitors require a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024 is recommended.

NewsScroll Software
NewsScroll software gives Compix Media character generators the ability to simultaneously display a real-time clock, logo, and a scroll of news information. Dual channel systems can run GenCG and NewsScroll simultaneously.

RCES-FX Software
RCES-FX is an enhanced version of our Remote Create and Edit Software. RCES-FX not only enables a Compix Media GenCG user to create or edit GenCG files from any location, but also allows the end-user to view all the transitions applied to their offline creation directly on their VGA monitor or 2nd output monitor.

Do you have one of the 50's?
The dual channel upgrade kits for the LCG 5050D, 5050R, 7050R do not have a built-in SDI output. You will have to buy an additional SDI Output card for your dual channel upgrade order. See the Connections tab on your product for details on different configurations.

Compix Media SDI Output Card
Compix Media SDI Add-on output daughter card provides Serial Digital Interface output for LCG 5000, 5050, 7000, 7050, CYNERG Plus and CYNERG Ultimate standalone systems. It is fully compatible with the SMPTE 259M Serial Digital Standard (Television - 10-Bit 4:2:2 Component and 4fsc Composite Digital Signals - Serial Digital Interface). The SDI card provides two digital video outputs and one digital key output.
