PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX END USER’S CHOICE MAIL-IN REBATE

Effective December 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008, End Users can receive mail-in cash rebates on
select Sony LUMA™ monitors and select Sony shotgun microphones with the purchase of the new
PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX™ Camcorder! Multiple cash mail-in rebates on the eligible models can be
claimed as long as one (1) PMW-EX1 is purchased. Purchase of the eligible mail-in rebate models
must be within 30 days of the purchase of the PMW-EX1 from the same Sony Authorized Reseller.

Claim procedure:
The claim procedure is a two step process:
1. End user must complete online claim form no later than April 30, 2008 at
www.sony.com/XDCAMEXCHOICE
2. End user must send printout of completed on-line form, entire
ORIGINAL UPC product code label(s) from the box(es) of the PMW-EX1 and
LMD-9050, LMD-2050WHD, LMD-2450WHD, ECM-673, ECM-674, ECM-678,
and/or ECM-680S, and copy(ies) of purchase invoice(s) from the same Sony
Authorized Reseller to Sony Award Headquarters at the following address,
postmarked no later than April 30, 2008. In the case of multiple claims being
submitted, copy(ies) of the UPC product code label(s) from the boxes of the
PMW-EX1 purchased as well as copy(ies) of purchase invoice(s) from the same
Sony Authorized Reseller are required.

UNTIL THE BACKUP PAPERWORK HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.

Submission Deadline:
All claims must be entered online and required backup documentation
submitted and postmarked no later than April 30, 2008 or they will be
rejected.

Claim Dispute:
Disputes for rejected claims must be submitted within 30 days of postmark
date of claim rejection notice. To dispute a claim, end user must call the toll
free number provided on the website. In the event of any questions or
interpretation of the terms and conditions of in this promotion, the decision
of Sony will be final.

Other Terms & Conditions: To qualifiy for the cash rebate by mail, end users must purchase both a PMWEX1
XDCAM EX Camcorder and LMD-9050, LMD-2050WHD, LMD-2450WHD, ECM-
673, ECM-674, ECM-678, and/or ECM-680S within 30 days from the same Sony
Authorized Reseller. End user should allow 8-10 weeks following receipt of
properly completed rebate submission for check. Limit one rebate per eligible
product (LMD-9050, LMD-2050WHD, LMD-2450WHD, ECM-673, ECM-674, ECM-
678, and/or ECM-680S) purchased by end-user (not for resale). Rebate check
will not be delivered to PO Boxes. If rebate check is not cashed within 90 days
of issuance, it will be void, and end user will not be entitled to receive a
replacement rebate check. Rebate checks will be issued in the name of the
business or person purchasing the eligible product which, if applicable, must
match the accompanying invoice/evidence. Offer is not transferable. Sony
reserves the right to request additional information to validate a claim,
making it subject to U.S. postal regulations. Offer void where prohibited,
taxed or restricted by law. Sony is not responsible for claims or rebate checks
lost, damaged, or delayed in transit unless Sony has been negligent.
Submitted materials become Sony property and will not be returned. Products
for which rebate is claimed may not be returned (limited warranty claims
excluded). Offer valid only in the continental United States. Not valid in,
Alaska, Hawaii and territories. Offer not valid on refurbished, open-box,
returned products, or demonstration products.
