Panasonic is very proud to announce the introduction of the new, modular AV-HS400
MultiFormat live HD video switcher with standard MultiViewer Multi-Image Preview,
Chroma-Keyer, 3D Digital Effects, and optional up-conversion of standard definition
signals to HD—making it possible to mix HD and SD video. The AV-HS400 system
offers great value and performance to our end-users. The AV-HS400 MultiFormat Switcher will be available in December 2007.

AV-HS400 — Key Features and Benefits
• A MultiViewer for display of up to ten HD images with a single monitor is
standard equipment!
• 3D Digital Effects, including page turn and rotation, are also included.
• Chroma-key, PIP, DSK, and Aux Bus are incorporated for creative flexibility.
• Optional up-converting input boards enable mixing of SD and HD content
• A frame synchronizer is available on every input, for non-synchronous sources
such as Blu-ray DVD, remote camera feeds, or archival material on videotape.
• Optional output boards include HD Component for maximum compatibility with
legacy systems, and DVI out scalable up to 1920x1080 for large venue displays!
• True HD processing of all inputs is employed for maximum image quality.
• The HS-400 is self-contained, great for flight-packs and small control rooms.
• On-screen display of menus, SD Card transfer of still images, and other workflow
friendly features enhance productivity and ease of use.
