GOLD MOUNT® QUICK CHANGE SYSTEM
From the first one piece video camera to the advanced cameras of the day, the Anton/Bauer Snap-On® system has been the standard of professional video. The patented Gold Mount® is the third generation of this proprietary mounting system. The versatility of the mount combined with the advanced features and technology of Anton/Bauer batteries and chargers makes it the power format choice of video professionals, broadcasters and equipment manufacturers alike.
New cameras from every manufacturer – from high definition to mini-DV – offer the InterActive® viewfinder capability of the Anton/Bauer system available only with the Gold Mount. The pioneering Automatique® light control circuitry is available only with Anton/Bauer gold Mount equipped cameras. Many models, including every DVCPRO and new P2 solid state format cameras are delivered with the Anton/Bauer Gold Mount as standard factory equipment.
New accessory equipment as well, such as hard drives, audio receivers and camera control systems also employ the Gold Mount for easy attachment to new cameras.
GOLD MOUNT Professional Features
PowerTap Receptacle - This exclusive Anton/Bauer feature allows a camera mounted light, wireless microphone, or other D.C. accessory to be powered from the camera battery. The integral cable of the popular Ultralight 2 includes a PowerTap plug that mates directly with the PowerTap receptacle in the Gold Mount. The PowerTap is rated at 10 amps and is internally fused for safety.
Automatique - This feature of the Gold Mount is standard with most new camcorders. A special power circuit in the Gold Mount mates with the VTR roll signal in the camera/camcorder allowing an Ultralight to turn on/off automatically in sympathy with the VTR. This assures that every shot is free from the objectionable shadows caused by overhead lights, yet battery drain is kept to a minimum.
InterActive Viewfinder "Fuel Gauge" - The Gold Mount includes the special InterActive contact that transmits the fuel computer signal from the DIGITAL battery to the viewfinder "Fuel Gauge" included in many cameras/camcorders.
Future Compatible - Unlike older box style battery holders, the Gold Mount is fully compatible with the many different sizes and shapes of the new cell technologies that are under development. The Gold Mount will also allow old and new technology batteries to be used together interchangeably thus avoiding the inevitable sudden and costly transition to a new battery format.
Universal Application - Gold mount brackets can be easily installed on all portable equipment including color monitors, scopes, and microwave units. This eliminates all the problems of having many different and incompatible battery/charger systems and allows spare camera batteries to be used on test equipment (and vice versa).
A wide variety of Gold Mount accessory battery holders allow the same batteries that are normally camera mounted to be also worn as a belt or mounted two-at-a-time for unlimited run-time.

QR-A200 adapts the wedge mount on Sony DNW-A25/A220/A225/DS70 portable SX editing machines to the Anton/Bauer Gold Mount, because of the high current consumption of this machine, the HyTRON 120 is highly recommended. Can also be used to power Sony DSR50 VTR and BVMD9 high definition monitor.
7/14 GOLD MOUNT ADAPTORS
The 7/14 Gold Mount is designed to power 6-volt industrial type cameras from standard Anton/Bauer Logic Series batteries instead of hard to get or potentially troublesome consumer types. Employing a highly efficient DC-to-DC converter, the 7/14 adaptor automatically converts the high voltage of batteries such as the ProFormer or HyTRON 50 to 7.2 volts, providing more reliability and longer run times. Operating a 10 watt DVCAM using the 7/14 mount, the ProFormer will run for over 3 hours; while the HyTRON 50 will run for over 5 hours.
At the same time, the full 14.4 voltage of the battery is applied to the PowerTap connector, allowing for simultaneous powering of an Ultralight or any nominal 12 volt equipment with the camera. Depending on the camera model, the 7/14 adapter will mount either directly to the camera with no modification or can be worn in the supplied cordura pouch.

 QR-HOTSWAP
QR-HOTSWAP mounts directly to the camera for true perpetual, continuous battery operation. Unlike "stacking" batteries one behind the other, electronics in the QR-Hotswap allow for true "hot swapping" allowing ether battery to be changed at any time. The circuitry automatically combines the output of both Digital battery fuel gauges for accurate display in the cameras with InterActive viewfinder features. Used with two Dionic 90 batteries, the lightweight QR-Hotswap allows fro 180 watt hours of capacity and seamless, truly perpetual, power. QR-Hotswap can be used with any combination of Anton/Bauer Dionic or HyTron 50 batteries ONLY. QR-Hotswap comes in three mounting options.

PORTABLE MONITOR GOLD MOUNTS

UP-Monitor - For Sony BVM-8020/8021 monitors and all other portable equipment with a BP-90 type power input connector. This is a portable adapter with an integral power cable and does not mount permanently to the equipment.
QR-SVM - Custom Gold Mount for the Sony BVM-D9 Hi-Definition monitor and PVM-8041Q /8044Q/9041Q/9044Q/8045Q/8040 monitors.
QR-SVTR - Adapts the Wedge mount on Sony DSR-50/50P portable DVCAM VTR to the Anton/Bauer Gold Mount.
QR-7LCD - Custom Gold Mount for the Panasonic TLC-7WMSI 4x3/16x9 monitor, includes Gold Mount for power from any Anton/Bauer battery . LCD monitor attaches via the 5/8" female thread at the bottom of the monitor. Includes breakout connections for audio input from camera.
